Remember playing tag as a kid?
The thrill of running, the laughter, the moment someone taps your shoulder and yells, “You’re it!”

Well, here’s some good news – you don’t have to chase after God’s love. He’s already tagged you!

Psalm 23:6 reminds us: “Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life.” Notice it doesn’t say we have to earn it. It doesn’t say we need to run faster, be better, or work harder. God’s love and mercy aren’t rewards; they’re gifts.

This Valentine’s season, while love is in the air, take a moment to reflect on the greatest love of all – God’s love. It’s not based on what we do, but on what He has already done. No chasing, no striving, just receiving.

So, next time you feel like you have to run to prove yourself, stop. God’s already running after you.
