What does a miracle look like to you

    July 26, 2025 /

What does a miracle look like to you? According to Bible Study Tools, a miracle is “an occurrence that is above nature and beyond human ability. It demonstrates the intervention of a power not limited by the laws of matter or mind—a power that interrupts the fixed order of natural law. It is a supernatural power at work.” When we look at the life of Jesus, we see so many miracles—he healed the sick, raised the dead, cast out demons, and even calmed the wind and the sea. These were extraordinary and awe-inspiring events. Because of that, we often expect miracles to look dramatic and grand, and in doing so,…

    Cooperating with God’s Marvelous Work

    July 18, 2025 /

Cooperating with God’s Marvelous Work: A Testimony of Deliverance This morning, I had a powerful encounter with God that reminded me of how near He is, and how willing He is to move on our behalf—even in the small, unexpected places of life. A friend had just shared a verse with me that deeply connected to what I experienced: “God thunders marvelously with His voice; He does great things which we cannot comprehend.”— Job 37:5 (NKJV) It struck me deeply. So often we focus on why we can’t understand what God is doing. But today, the Spirit shifted my heart to ask instead:“How can I understand and cooperate with His…

Through the Waters and the Fire

    July 17, 2025 /

Through the Waters and the Fire — And Still Standing Isaiah 43:1–2 came to mind recently — a beautiful promise, yet one that comes wrapped in imagery few of us would ever choose: deep waters, raging rivers, and consuming fire. It is often seen as a comforting passage, but no one longs to be in the circumstances that make those words relevant. It’s not about avoiding the waters or fires — it’s about being preserved through them. Twelve years ago, I walked through a valley I never wanted to know — the loss of my beloved husband. For me, it felt more like walking through the shadow of death than…

A Powerful Prayer for time such as this

    July 16, 2025 /

A Powerful Prayer For Time Such As This Do you ever feel like the world around us is spinning out of control? The news is heavy. Our schedules are packed. And sometimes, it feels like we’re holding everything together with one hand while life slowly unravels with the other. Whether it’s the pressure of responsibilities, silent pain no one sees, or fear about what’s ahead—there’s often a deep, unspoken longing within us. A craving for something unshakable. Something real. That’s where prayer comes in. But what do we pray? And how? You can begin with Scripture—like Ephesians 3:14–21—letting the Word shape your words: 14 For this reason I bow my…

    Coffins Aren’t for Endings

    July 15, 2025 /

Coffins aren’t for endings. They’re being recycled for resurrections. Recently, God brought to mind a dream I had not too long ago about a family member. In the dream, this person was lying on a rug that covered a coffin. He had purchased the coffin—not for death, but to bury things he had collected and loved. I saw what he was doing and told him, “People don’t bury coffins—they recycle them.” The image of someone lying on a rug covering a coffin is rich with meaning. A coffin often symbolizes death, finality, or the end of something. But in this dream, the coffin wasn’t for a person—it was being used…

The Power of Honesty and Peace in Truth

    April 11, 2025 /

Honesty doesn't just save time - it brings peace. In a world that often rewards clever excuses, choosing to tell the truth may feel risky. But as shared in a story from Minute with Maxwell, honesty is what frees us to move forward without fear or confusion. When we speak truthfully - with grace and clarity - we not only honour others, but we live in harmony with ourselves. This blog explores how being honest can be a path to inner peace and strength.

Seeing the Big Picture: Leadership and Growth

    February 25, 2025 /

Seeing the Big Picture: Leadership and Growth In leadership and in life, it’s easy to get caught up in our personal roles, preferences, and opinions. But as John Maxwell shares, true leadership means understanding that “it’s not about you, it’s not about me—it’s about the big picture.” When making decisions, we must consider what’s best for the team, organization, or mission rather than focusing solely on individual wants. Maxwell reminds us that growth is possible—even if we start off struggling in a certain area, with persistence and a willingness to learn, we can improve. His story is proof that recognizing our weaknesses is the first step to becoming stronger leaders.…

    Growth is a Choice

    January 31, 2025 /

Growth is a Choice Change is inevitable, life moves forward whether we’re ready or not. But as John C. Maxwell said, “Change is inevitable. Growth is optional.” The real question is: will you grow with it? As we have now entered 2025, now is the time to decide. Will you stay stagnant, or will you take intentional steps toward your goals? How to Choose Growth This Year   Define Your Vision – Get clear on what your goals look like for you in 2025. Write it down and be specific. Prioritize Discipline Over Motivation – Motivation can fade, but discipline keeps you on track. Show up even when you don’t…
