As we approach the new year, we are reminded of the beautiful promise in\u00a0Lamentations 3:22-23<\/b>:<\/p>

His mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning.<\/i><\/p>

God doesn’t just want us to turn a page; He wants to give us a clean slate. But to fully embrace the “new thing” He is doing in our lives, we must first be willing to let go of the weights that hold us back.<\/p>

To make room for the blessings and peace God has for your next chapter, it\u2019s time to “clean house” and leave behind:<\/p>

  • Old Strongholds:<\/b>\u00a0Release the bitterness and past that weigh down your spirit. Remember, you are forgiven.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

    • Lies of the Enemy:<\/b>\u00a0Silence the voice of self-doubt. You are “fearfully and wonderfully made,” and God has equipped you for what\u2019s ahead.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>

      • Draining Habits:<\/b>\u00a0Walk away from the routines that distract you from your purpose or cost you your peace.<\/p><\/li><\/ul>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

        Trusting the Author<\/strong><\/h4>

        Closing a chapter isn’t about forgetting your history; it\u2019s about trusting the\u00a0Author of your story, which is Jesus<\/b>. When we surrender what isn’t good, we aren’t leaving a void\u2014we are creating space for the Holy Spirit to fill us with fresh energy, new perspectives, and a joy that the world can’t take away.<\/p>

        Walking Forward in Faith<\/strong><\/h4>

        This year isn’t about “new year, new me.” It\u2019s about\u00a0“new year, renewed spirit.”<\/b>\u00a0As you step into this new chapter, walk lightly, knowing you don\u2019t have to carry the burden alone.<\/p>

        \u201cForget the former things; do not dwell on the past. See, I am doing a new thing!\u201d (Isaiah 43:18-19)<\/i><\/p>

        Here\u2019s to a clean slate and the grace that makes it possible.\u00a0<\/b><\/p>
