When we pray for healing, we can sometimes fall into the mindset that illness or suffering is a result of sin or divine punishment. However, Jesus challenges this view in the story of the man born blind in John\u2019s Gospel. In John 9, Jesus clearly states that neither the man nor his parents sinned. Rather, his blindness occurred\u00a0\u201cso that the works of God might be displayed in him.\u201d<\/strong>\u00a0This truth directly opposes the concept of karma, which suggests that suffering is always the result of personal wrongdoing.<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

We must be careful not to make assumptions when we encounter someone who is suffering. Instead, we should be attentive to the leading of the Holy Spirit. Even when sin may be a factor and repentance is necessary, our response should never be condemnation. Like Jesus, we are called to speak truth with deep love, compassion, and grace. Jesus ministered healing not through shame, but through mercy, kindness, and divine authority.<\/p>\n\n

As Paul reminds us in\u00a0<\/p>\n\n
