There is something deeply comforting about knowing that God is not bound by our clocks or calendars. While we often live by schedules, appointments, and deadlines, the Creator of time Himself moves in a different rhythm \u2014 one that is holy, purposeful, and perfect.<\/p>\n

The Bible introduces us to this idea through two different words for time: chronos and kairos. Chronos is the ticking of the clock \u2014 linear, measurable time. But kairos is different. Kairos refers to the appointed time, the divine moment, the God-ordained intersection where His will unfolds exactly as it should. We find a beautiful reflection of this in Ecclesiastes 3:1, which says:<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t

This is the essence of kairos. It is not about when we think something should happen, but when God knows it is right. Sometimes we wait. Sometimes we wonder why things didn\u2019t happen sooner. But in hindsight, we often see that the delay was actually preparation \u2014 that God was aligning people, events, and even our hearts for the right moment.<\/p>\n

Galatians 6:9 offers further encouragement in this waiting:<\/p>\n

Trusting God\u2019s timing means letting go of our need to control every outcome. It means walking by faith, not by sight. It means believing that even when we don\u2019t understand the delays or the detours, God is still writing a beautiful story \u2014 and every chapter has its place.<\/p>\n

If you\u2019re in a season of waiting, remember this: God has not forgotten you. His silence is not absence. His timing is not neglect. Sometimes, the waiting is the kairos \u2014 a sacred pause where God is doing deep work in the unseen.<\/p>\n
