This painting is a letter I wrote to the Holy Spirit—through art—after personally experiencing God’s healing. The Holy Spirit is full of power, yet He is incredibly gentle and humble. He never forces His way into our lives or actions.

Only when we welcome Him with a heart of humility and longing do we truly begin to experience His power to transform and heal. The extent to which our hearts are open to the Holy Spirit determines the depth of healing we will experience.

“Take My yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”   — Matthew 11:29–30
